Ricci Construction was approached by Flatbread Company to build their first ever ground-up restaurant in North Conway overlooking Cathedral Ledge. The framework of this build was built around a basement foundation with a steel deck support followed by heavy timber framing. The client wanted to focus on a timber/wood heavy feel, mainly utilizing Douglas Fir glulams for framing support (along with cedar and pine stained wall accent panels). The building is aided by an R-60 closed cell foam envelope enclosure with R-22 closed cell spray foam on the exterior walls with R-zip wall panels to provide ideal energy conservation.

Ricci Construction was under budget by $330k, with the project being completed in ten months.

With over 180 seats, a custom built oak bar, two clay ovens and a rear porch, this restaurant is a staple of the North Conway food scene.
